Nonparametric statistical methods used in case of one sample, two independent samples, two dependent samples, three or more independent samples and three or more dependent samples, Chi-Square tests for independence and homogenity, goodness of fit tests.

 Week Theoretical Practice Laboratory 0 Introduction: Aim, Content and references. Basic Statistical Concepts 1 Differences between nonparametric and parametric statistical methods, measurement levels 2 Goodness of fit tests: Chi-square, Kolmogorov- Smirnov, Lilliefors 3 Test for Homogeneity of Variances: Levene Test, Brown-Forsythe Test. One sample nonparametric tests: Binomial Test, 4 Sign Test, Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test, Run Test 5 Two Independent Sample Tests: Median Test, Mann Whitney, Wald – Wolfowitz Run Test 6 Kolmogorov Smirnov Test, Fisher Exact Test, Mood Test 7 Midterm 8 Two Dependent Sample Nonparametric Tests: Sign Test, Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test, McNemar Test 9 Chi-Square tests for independence and homogeneity 10 Tests for More Than Two Independent Samples: Median Test, Kruskal – Wallis H Test 11 Multiple Comparisons 12 Tests for More Than Two Dependent Samples: Friedman’s S Test 13 Multiple Comparisons 14 Rank-order correlation and other measures of relationship 15 Final exam
