Objectives of the Course
The aim of the course are; Teaching the properties of the physical testing laboratory, sampling of the fabrics, physical quality control testing methods of the fabrics, evaluating the results. Apply all the tests in practice lessons.

Course Contents
Quality control in textile industry, laboratory conditions of the physical testing, sampling from fabric, structural and dimensional properties of the fabrics (fabric face and back, weight per unit area etc. ), mechanical properties of the fabrics( breaking strength, tearing strength, abrasion resistance, seam strength, etc. ), permeability and conductivity properties of the fabrics (air permeability etc.), appearance and sensorial properties of the fabrics (handle, drapebility etc. )
