Objectives of the Course
Aims are teaching the concept of statistics, how to present the data, probability and distributions to the students; to introduce the scientific decision by statistical approach; to teach how to analyse the data from the experiments and how to inference the analyzing results.

Course Contents
Introduction to statistics, fundamental statistical terms; pesenting and summarizing data; dscriptive statistics; probability and probability distributions (binomial, poisson and normal); statistical inference, hypothesis testing; relationships among variables (regression and correlation analysis); the analysis of countable data.

9Hypothesis tests, I. and II. type error, power of test
10Large sample tests (z test), tests for population mean and comparing two population means
11Small sample tests (t test)
12Tests for comparing two population means from independent samples, comparing two population means from paired samples
13Tests for population variance (F test), comparing two population variances (khi-kare testi)
14Relationships among variables (regression and correlation analysis)
15Anaysis of countable data (khi-kare analysis)
