Objectives of the Course
The aim of this course is to teach how computers work and usage of office automation systems.

Course Contents
A general overview for computer; Operating Systems,Algorithms, Word processor, spreadsheet. Presentation tools and Projects; Package and up-to-date programs will be examined.

6Preparing a document in word processor, tables, drawing, adding files/objects/pictures, equation editor
7Introduction to a spreadsheet, usage, cell properties, page formatting, tabling and formatting of data

9Sorting data in spreadsheet programs, writing formulas
10Creating data charts, creating macros and macro usage in spreadsheet programs.
11Introduction a presentation program and its usage
12Writing a scientific document in computer (paper, report, etc.)
13Introduction to Matlab, general purposes and commands
