Objectives of the Course
It is aimed to teach basic concepts about statistics, how to obtain and organize data in a scientific research, and to provide necessary information about probability and probability distributions which are the basis of statistical methods.

Course Contents
This course aims to teach the basic concepts of statistics. After introduction to statistics, data collection and classification, frequency distribution, measurement of central tendency, arithmetic, geometric and harmonic means, median, mode, probability distribution ramdom variables and sampling, hypothesis tests and prediction subjects will be addressed.
