Objectives of the Course
The aim of this course is to teach methods for aquaculture research project preparation. In this context, the key issues as what the project is, how to plan, how to prepare a logical framework, performing an analysis of the current situation for an approvable project will be discussed.

3To have information and comment about national and international aquaculture research projects
4To have knowledge about terms and concepts of a project, planning stages, and process
5To have information and discuss about the required analysis to prepare research projects and be able to evaluate current situation
6To be able to generate international and national project formats, to learn application requirements and evaluation criteria for a project and to make a succesfull presentation
7To be able to recognize national and international funding sources for aquaculture research projects, to be able to reach and benefit to related to sources.

Course Contents
Project related definitions, project planning stages, the project's importance and process of the project cycle and project cycle management, logical framework for creating a sustainable project conditions, national and international funding sources for aquaculture research projects, examples of international and national projects, conditions to generate project formats, application requirements and project evaluation criteria will be explained. Performing a research project with students will be provided.
