This course aims to bring students in to comprehend the field investigation methods, get to know the probable problems in field investigations and analyse the research methods.

Course Contents
While analysing an art developed in a particular region, history of the cities, geographical structure of the region, accordingly material, ethnical structure, socio-economic situation, and alteration of these data in history are important. While analysing an architecture in a particular region, in addition to architectural history, all those data mentioned above should be evaluated deeply lin a specific methodology. This course covers methods and techniques of field and area research in art history.
