Objectives of the Course
The aim of this course is to develop the skills required of textile engineers to make critical and accurate colour judgments. The course begins by exploring some of the many fascinating aspects of colour, including the nature of light and colour perception. From there, it develop into the world of colour measurement and specification, including a look at HunterLab and CIELAB. Topics covered also includes whiteness measurement colour quality control, colour management

2Physical properties of color. General information about color wheels, primary, secondary and tertiary colors. Explanation of value and intensity.
3Cold and warm colors, psychological properties of colors, color harmony , additive and substractive and additive color mixing.

5General information about calibration, sensivity etc. Preparing sample for color measurement
