The objective of the lecture is that students learn about advanced material subjects, which face them both during their study as well as during their profession.

Material science Classifications and properties; Metallic materials;Alloys. Difusion and phase diagram Iron - carbon phase diagram. Heat treatment of steels. Polymers; Ceramics; Composite materials Physical tests applied for the packaging materilas, tensile strength, young modules Material selection and standards.
