Objectives of the Course
The objective of this course is to provide gaining of knowledge on plant protection machinery and to explain the effective and environmental sensitive application techniques

1To attain knowledge about necessity, timing and application techniques for plant protection.
2Learning classification of plant protection machinery and all components of these machines
3To have knowledge about forming of droplets and affecting factors.
4To attain knowledge about drift of pesticides and affecting factors.
5Learning environmental sensitive application techniques and calibration of sprayers.
6To have knowledge about integrated pest management (IPM)

• Pesticide application techniques • Learning some definition about plant protection • Affecting factors on amount of sprayed pesticide • Pump selective criterion on sprayers • Importance of sprayer nozzles • Adjustment of sprayer boom • To reduce the negative effect of pesticide drift • Importance of sprayer calibration and application techniques. • Safety at pesticide application.
