Objectives of the Course
The object of this course is to introduce the students of Agricultural Engineering to the vocation of Landscape Architecture, by giving a general information on the history, education, and work fields of Landscape Architecture

Learning Outcomes
1Being able to associate the vocation of Landscape Architecture with other related disciplines.
2Being able to acquire the ability of awareness towards the environmental subjects by comprehending the importance and content of the vocation of Landscape Architecture
3Being able to understand the contributions of the long-term vocational education on performing the vocation by exploring the study topics of the Landscape Architecture vocation and related employment fields.
4Being able to understand the functional and artistic relationships of the Landscape Architecture vocation in the approaches of out-door planning and designing based on ecologic foundations
5Being able to have information on the botanic materials used in landscape design projects

The contents of this course are; the definition of Landscape Architecture, its work fields, education, history, landscape planning and design and contents, relations with other disciplines, Structural and Botanic materials of Landscape Architecture, the general process of design projects
