Objectives of the Course
This course aims to instruct the grammar of ancient Greek. It is supplemented with several exercises in grammar. The main objective in this course is to make the students able to read ancient Greek and to translate ancient texts in Turkish with the help of a dictionary.

Course Contents
This course continues the introduction to reading Ancient Greek. We will be studying: Augmentum and imperfect tense Aorist Femines in first declension (-a stem) Some rules in syntax: Appositio, Accusativus praedicativus, Accusative of extend, Genetivus possesivus, Genetivus partitivus, Dativus possesivus Redublicatio, perfect and pluperfect tenses Some notes on indicative active voice Masculines in first declination (a-stem) Conditional sentences Epigraphical notes
