Objectives of the Course
This course aims to instruct the grammar of ancient Greek. It is supplemented with several exercises in grammar. The main objective in this course is to make the students able to read ancient Greek and to translate ancient texts in Turkish with the help of a dictionary.

Course Contents
Course includes general information about Ancient Greek language: its emergency, development and dialectic. We will be also studying: Verbs: Voices, Moods, Tenses, number and person Indicative, Active Voice, Conjugation of verbs, Present Tense Future Tense Nouns, declinations, cases, gender and number Articles Masculines in second declension (-o stem) Adjectives Some rules in syntax Neuters in second declension (-o stem)
