Finansal sistemin en önemli parçası bankacılık sisteminin Türkiye’de doğuşundan günümüze farklı boyutlarını Küresel finans sistemi içersinde gelişimi ve kırılmaları ile birlikte Dünya-AB örnekleri ile kıyaslayarak teorik ve uygulamalı biçimde sunmak ve öğrencilerle paylaşmaktır.

Dünya ve Türkiye’de finansal sistem ve bankacılık kavramları. Banka, banka türleri ve bankacılık faaliyetleri. Osmanlıdan günümüze Türk bankacılığının gelişimi. Bankacılık sektöründe füzyon kavramı ve Türk bankacılık sektöründe uygulamaları. AB üyesi ülkelerde bankacılık. Türk ve global bankacılık sistemi ile ilgili yeni perspektifler.
