Objectives of the Course
Environment science has become an interdisciplinary course and be taughed in a wide area, from environmental chemistry, environment engineering and environment architecture, environment economy and policy to international environment law and international environment problems, at the university level. The aim of this course is to analyze the renewable and depletable natural resources, all kind of environmental pollution, ways to prevent pollution, sustainability of human and other living organisms’ habitat with growth and development and urbanization. To educate suitable personnel to both public and private sectors in this area. To make a contribution to the intellectual and consciousness level of people

1To be able to understand the interrelationship between the environment and the economy
2To be able to evaluate the environment problems and the possible solutions from the economical perspective
3To be able to comparatively evaluate the environmental politics in Turkey and in the world.

Course Contents
In the context of this course, the environment and the environmental science’s historical evolution and today’s case will be discussed. Moreover, the environmental policies and current issues on this topic in Turkey and the world will be evaluated comparatively.
