Course Contents
Under the cover of the aims of the seed storage and simple applications; collecting the seed for storage, define the physiologic maturity, disordersin harvest, preparation of seeds for storage, cleaning and drying are studied. Changing of the seed physiology during the storage, the effects of storage to genetic changes, relative humidity of the seed, humidity-storage room relations and heat of the seed are focused on. Also seed storage (short and long period), heat and humidity seed germination rate are invastigated.
