Objectives of the Course
The aim of this lecture is to teach identification of plants by using molecular methods, selections based on molecular markers in plant breeding and evaluation and protection of genetic diversity.

Introduction to proteins (enzymes) and molecular methods based on DNA and examine this methods in terms of polymorphism, sensitivity, simplicity and affection by environment,,Explanation of usage areas of molecular methods, Diagnosis of variety in plants and usage of molecular methods in taxanomy, Usage of molecular methods in identification of genetic variation in plants and protection of plant genetic sources, Usage of molecular methods in plant breeding and selection based on markers in breeding programs, Protocols related with usage of of molecular methods, Protein (Enzyme) and DNA isolation in plant material, polyacrilamide gel and agarose gel electrophoresis, PCR protocols.
