Objectives of the Course
The aim of the lecture is to provide the students to comprehend basic information on insecticides, that were used and are been used against major harmful insects, their potential risks and taken necessary measurements to safe environment, human health and non-target organisms. Recommend and apply the insecticides against important insects on their specific properties.

2Get to know detail information on effect of insecticides on all living organisms in environment
3Develop novel ideas and techniques about effective, economic and environmentally friendly insecticides usage
4Recommend insecticides against to major insects on cultivated plants
5Get to know about active ingredients having insecticide effects on the group basis, deepening and improving the current and advanced information about the subjects leading to original ideas and searching as the excellence level

- Introduction: History and definitons - Chemical structures and general properties of insecticides- Modes of action of insecticides- Insecticide Classification: Natural insecticides, Microbial insecticides, Chlorinated hydrocarbons, Organophosphates, Carbamates, Pyrethroids, Insect growth regulators, and others
