Objectives of the Course
In this course, it is aimed to provide that the students learn the control methods performed by using natural and artificial molecules regulating biological and physical features of insects and providing of their growth.For that purpose, it is aimed to provide that knowledge and application methods about insect growth regulators, pheromones, repellents, antifeedents and sterile insect techniques etc. are comprehended.

- Attractants: Pheromones (sex pheromones, alarm pheromones, Aphrodisiac).- Insect growth regulators: Juvenile hormone analogs, benzulerea.- Repellents: Azadirachtin,- Antifeedents- Sterile insect techniques: Sterile insect release methods.
