Objectives of the Course
The objective of this course is understand the behaviour of the pathogenic fungi cause wilts, compare their pathogenicity of the fungi, causal reasons of the disruption of water uptake, integrating with the plant physiological function and diseased plant, analyze the common fungal wilt pathogens,evaluate the new approach on disease control, comment on the studies about the wilt diseases

The general wiew on the Fungal wilts: pathogenesis occurs in the plant, enzyme,toxin and growth regulators, displaying the wilt pathogens: Verticillium, Fusarium, Ceratocystis, Cephalosporium, Disease symptoms, race development, control methods such as physical, chemical, cultural, biological and resistance of the pathogens, some examples carried out in abroad and Turkey
