Course Contents
What is rural development? Development in the world. Rural development paradigms, rural development policies and strategies, the stages of Rural Development Project; the steps, goals, levels, limitations and alternatives of projects; project analysis and entrance reviews; to create alternatives by using management by objectives techniques; the determinations of projects’ related, important, critical issues; project planning matrix, Zopp method; the team work in projects; to create a participatory environment and participatory approaches; programming in projects; to take decisions in projects; project evaluation, sensitivity analysis, action planning by Pert and Gantt techniques; rural development projects case studies in the World and Turkey.
