Objectives of the Course
A number of bulky materials organic or inorganic in origin can be used separately or in various combinations to make loamless mixes as a growing media for crops .Information in relation to the availability, cost and local experience under Turkish conditions are given .Also their physical and chemical properties are presented with respect to nutrition. The utilization particularly in the protected cropping is emphasized.
