Objectives of the Course
Description of catching methods of the marine invertabrates which has economic value (shrimp, crap, mussel, oyster, whelk, squid, cuttlefish and octopus etc.), detailed information on reduction of the by-catch in these catching methods aimed at sustanible fisheries and fishing operations in the sea as practice.

Course Contents
• Shrimp and crap : Technical features of nets which use in shrimp fisheries, their CPUE, technical information on reduction of by-catch on these nets. • Mussle, Oyster and Whelk : Detailed information on catching equipmants used for these species and practical studies at sea. • Squid, Cuttlefish and Octopus : Description of catching methods and factor affect to fisheries.
