To learn the working principle in fish immune system, to understand the importance of specific and non-specific immunity, to get general information about serological methods used in on fish diseases, to comprehend the importance and general principles of vaccination.

Definition of basic terms in immunology and serology, immune system organs, the cellular and humoral immune response, importance of specific and nonspecific immune system mechanisms, endogenous and exogenous factors that affect the immune system, the mechanism of infection and the occurrence of diseases and serological methods are explained.
