Objectives of the Course
For the sustainability of improving aquaculture industry, studying and investigating the effects of feeds on the environment and their prevention as well as the effects of farms.

Learning Outcomes
1Learning all parameters necessary for sustainable aquaculture and interpretation of related data. Giving the skills for problem solving.
2Discussion on eutriphication and monitoring environmental impact measurement methods, learning related formula and indexes and interpretation.
3Wastes resulting from fish feeds and their effects on the environmental parameters and finding solutions for them.
4Using alternative feedstocks in fish feed depending on the fish species and doing a literature search and discussion on their effects on the environment.
5Information on the usage of feeds in aquaculture farms and their monitoring
6Learning mixed feeds and their plant and animal protein ingredients, in other words learning feedstocks
7Learning the nutritive properties, ingredients, and properties of non-nitrogen main materials of plant and animal based feedstocks of fish feed

Course Contents
During this course, potential structure of aquaculture farms, their effects on the environment, fish feed used in aquaculture, their feedstocks, their nutritive value, their effects on the environment, monitoring methods, and problem solving skills will be given.
