Objectives of the Course
The main objective of the course is to make students learn the parasites cause the diseases on crustaceans, preparation of these parasites and use of correct drugs in the treatment of diseases.

Learning Outcomes
1Comment on parasitic diseases according to clinical and autopsy findings.
2Differentiate the healthy crustaceans and diseased crustaceans.
3Identify the parasite through the microscopic examination.
4Establish a relationship between behavior disorders, external symtopms and diseases.
5Prevent the outbreak of the diseseas, taking the necessary hygiene and quarantine maesures.
6Know the life cycles of the parasites and to prevent the development of the diseases, breaking the life cycle in a point.
7Choice and apply the appropirate drug against to diagnosed parasite.

2Microsporida (Ameson, Nodelspora, Pleistophora) parasites occur on shrimps, crabs and crayfishs. Examination of ecto and endoparasites of shrimps.
