Objectives of the Course
To culture of highly economical cephalopod species such as octopus, squid and cuttlefish, to identification of culture methods of the candidate species, to description of factors affecting the circumstances of egg incubation and embryonic development in cephalopod species, to definition of culture methods from paralarval stage to marketing size of the cephalopod species.

Course Contents
In the cephalopods (octopus, squid, cuttlefish), preparation of paralarval rearing systems, obtaining of live food for paralarvae and preparation of feeding protocols. To consider of abiotic factors and water quality parameters on cephalopod culture, investigation of hygienic characteristics of the rearing conditions and take precautions. Culture techniques and its preparation of systems for egg incubation, paralarval, juvenile and marketing size of the cephalopods, and points to be paid attention while rearing.
