Objectives of the Course
Such as memries and travel boks as well as archival sources related tothe history of the Caucasus will be introduced. In addition, information about how to use these reosurces will be also given.

1Graduated student using the basic resources,without losing cause effect relationships between events of the History of the Caucasus, can produce regular and scientific knowledge. (LO. 3,8)
2Along with prove Multi-ethnic structure of the history of the geography of the Caucasus managing researching smiltaneously events with a comparative metodoloji, graduates can solve the historical events he/she acrossed by this way. Graduates Investigating a matter about the history of the Caucasus also benefit other areas of social science can make analysises using the scientific science as a means of social science theories.(LO. 10, 13)
3While graduation makes academic research takes into account the rules of ethics of the profession. In particular reference to resource use and apply the rules properly (LO.14)

Course Contents
The North Caucasus, have been fighting area for the three major powers such as Ottoman Empire, Russia and Iran. Archival documents about the history of the North Caucasus, these states would be given information about. In addition, the archives will be shown examples of written document.As well as travelers, and travelers' that have been witness to the developments in the Caucasus Archive documents will be among the subjects of this course is to review. First-hand sources, in addition to the major scientific studies and researches made so far will be discussed also in comparison.
