Objectives of the Course
The aim of this course is to enable students to be able to comprehend relations of art with the elements of artist, work of art, consumer of art and society and to enable them to be able to know the theory of art and to be able to consider philosophical dimension of art on works of art.

2To be able to explain the dynamic interaction among artist, works of art, consumers of art and community.
3To be able to make the definition of aesthetic.
4To be able to explain the relationship between art and aesthetic.
5To be able to explain the art theories.
6To be able to explain the relationship between artistic creation and aesthetic judgment.
7To be able to make comments on the relationship between form and content in art by giving examples.
8To be able to discuss the ideas of the philosophers who had contributed to the area of aesthetic.
9To be able to explain the philosophical dimension of art over works of art.
10To be able to understand and evaluate contemporary art events.

Course Contents
This course basically deals with the conceptions of art, art productions, art consumers, artists, consumer and nature, state art and society and its main resources and relations. It also clarifies the specific art notions such as; formative, reflective, expressionist, functional and conceptual. Besides, suggests different point of views from variety of philosophers and art critics.
