Objectives of the Course
The aims of this course are to give students knowledge about development of the Turkish Painting and to help them to be able to evaluate and discuss Turkish Painting on the sample works of art.

1To be able to acquire knowledge of history of Turkish painting.
2To be able to explain important events of history of Turkish painting.
3To be able to make the definition of miniature
4To be able to explain the Western effects on Turkish painting.
5To be able to evaluate Turkish painting’s place in the framework of the general art.
6To be able to give examples from important Turkish artists and their works of art.
7To be able to make comments on the relationship between form and content in art by giving examples from Turkish painting.
8To be able to understand and discuss the tradition of Turkish painting.
