Objectives of the Course
The aim of this course is to contribute to the students to learn the methodology in historical researches and the concepts of the “Ancient West” and “Ancient East”, to know literary, epigraphic and numismatic sources of Ancient Western History, to observe the Historiography in Classical, Hellenistic and Roman periods; to understand present case of the researches on Ancient Western History in Turkey and in the World; to discuss on area of interests in Ancient Western History.
