The objective of the course is to make the students aware of scour, understand the scour prevention methods and teach the methods of analysis and application to real life problems.

1To understand the change in rivers and hydraulic structures due to the sediment transport,
2Determination of precautions against the risks due to the sediment transport and flow,
3Analysing and finding solutions to problems about the subject,
4To be able to create an algorithm for the solution,
5Find a published paper about the lecture, investigate, make a summary and present it in the class,
6Preperation and presentation of the research results as a cooperative study report,
