Objectives of the Course
The aim of this course for students is to be able to find out the basic knowledge concerning the used nanocomposites in nuclear technology, nanocomposites with metal matrix, nanocomposites with polymer matrix, synthesis techniques for nanocomposites with natural minerals (zeolite diatomite, clay, etc.) metal matrix and basic principles of the characterization techniques.

1Farklı nanokompozit çeşitlerinin ve sentez yöntemlerinin öğrenilebilmesi
2Nanokompozitlerin nükleer teknolojide kullanım alanlarının kavranabilmesi
3XRD, SEM, TEM, FTIR, XPS, TGA/DTA ve yüzey alanı gibi başlıca karakterizasyon tekniklerinin temel prensiplerinin kavranabilmesi
4Nanokompozit malzeme karakterizasyonuyla ilgili değerlendirme yapabilme
5Being able to find out the basic knowledge concerning the different nanocomposites and their synthesis methods
6Being able to comprehend the nanocomposites usage in nuclear technology
7Being able to comprehend the basic principles of XRD, SEM, TEM, FTIR, XPS, TGA/DTA and surface analysis

The properties and classification of nanocomposite materials used in nuclear technology, properties and preparation techniques of nanocomposites with metal matrix, properties and preparation tehcniques of nanocomposites with polymer/natural mineral matrix, characterization techniques and fundamental properties of materials, determining and evaluation of the characteristics of the nanocomposites by the methods of characterization
