History
Economics E-Master Program (without thesis) is presented as a part of Ege University Graduate School of Social Sciences Economics Major.
Qualification Awarded
The Master’s Degree without thesis in Economics is awarded to the graduates who have successfully fulfilled all program requirements.

Specific Arrangements For Recognition Of Prior Learning (Formal, Non-Formal and Informal)

Qualification Requirements and Regulations
The aim of the master program is to gain the required information about vocational subject and to show how to use them in application. Master program can be also opened as first-second education, e-learning or mixed program and conducted in accordance with the related regulations. This program consists of 90 ECTS credits including term project and at least 10 courses which are not less than 30 ECTS in total. Term project is evaluated as successful or unsuccessful. Student should enroll the term project and present a written report at the end of the semester. Qualification exam can be held at the end of program in accordance with the rules by suggestion of board of institute and the approval of senate. The sufficient conditions for graduation are the successful completion of all courses taken and having a graduation degree with 2 out of 4.
Profile of The Programme
The aim of the program is to provide students flexible thought structure, sufficiency in the field of economics and finance and to adopt global competitive conditions.
Occupational Profiles of Graduates With Examples
Graduates of programme are trained to be able to take up suitable positions at the private sector, the public sector, international institutions and also international markets.
Access to Further Studies
According to temporary article 3 of Graduate Education Regulation published in Official Newspaper with number 22683 on 1/7/1996, the students enrolled non-thesis master programs before 6/2/2013 can apply to doctorate and thesis master programs with the same rights. The rules regarding the admissions of the applicants before 6/2/2013 are determined by the board of institute with the suggestion of major board. The graduates after this date do not have right for application after that time.
Examination Regulations, Assessment and Grading
(1) The assessment and grading facilities of e-learning programs can be held either face to face or online with or without proctor by utilizing means of measurement and evaluation methods which are approved by the higher education institutions’ senates (assignment, project, practice, written exam, oral exam etc.), or by a central examination. (2) Midterm exams can be held online without proctor, but finals and make-up examinations should be held live or online under proctor. The place, the way that the exams will be made and which of the additional measurement and evaluation methods like oral examination, performance, project, thesis and portfolio will be used, are decided by the senate based on the suggestion of the institute that performs the education. (3) The assessment and grading facilities which are performed without proctor cannot be count for more than 20% of the general success in e-learning. The methods relevant to the assessment and grading facilities of courses which exists in the e-learning syllabus is announced before the preference phase for newly enrolled students. Facilities
Students in the department can participate to all kinds of social, cultural and sport activities presented by the Rectorate of Ege University and club activities.
