Objectives of the Course
The objective of this course is, to provide students to be able to explain the function, disorders and drugs that are used in treatment of related disorders of the cardiovascular, gastrointestinal, reproductive, excretory, haemopoietic and endocrine systems as well as to define and classify and explain uses of the vitamins and minerals.

1On completion of this course the successful student will be able to; Define renal functions and analyze drugs that act on the kidney by classifying them with respect to their areas/objectives of use
2On completion of this course the successful student will be able to; Define drugs that act on cardiovascular system and classify these drugs by intended use and mechanism of action
3On completion of this course the successful student will be able to; Define pathophysiological mechanisms and treatment of arryhtmia and classify these drugs by intended use and mechanism of action
4On completion of this course the successful student will be able to; Define pathophysiological mechanisms and treatment of angına pectoris and classify these drugs by intended use and mechanism of action
5On completion of this course the successful student will be able to; Define pathophysiological mechanisms and treatment of hyperlipidemia and classify these drugs by intended use and mechanism of action
6On completion of this course the successful student will be able to; Classify the hypothalamic, pituitary and adrenal cortex hormones and related drugs
7On completion of this course the successful student will be able to; Define the thyroid hormones and analyze drugs associated with treatment of thyroid disorders by intended use
