Recommended Optional Programme Components
Total of 60 hours. 12 hours in 3rd and 4th semester in school pharmacy. Remaining 48 hours in summer months following 4th semester in community pharmacies. General Information for Training Course I (school pharmacy) 1) Work hours / day : 6 2) Duration weekly training 5 days a week; at least 30 hours 3) Daily working hours: 09:00-12:00 and 13:00-16:00 4) Lunch time: 12:00-13:00

Placing and storage of controlled medicines 7. Official prescriptions 8. Evaluation of a prescription 9. Patient interview 10. Placing order 11. General expectations and behaviours of patients 12. National health system and health assurance MEDULA

1• Meeting with mentor pharmacist and pharmacy staff • Familiarizing with the physical parts of the pharmacy • General information about the duties of the staff and jobs • General information about the devices, equipments and tools and their use The subjects in theoritical lessons will be held • Familiarizing with the placing of the medicines • Familiarizing with the placing and the storage of controlled medicines • Following the pharmacist when working and writing a short report • Following the pharmacy staff when working and writing a short report • Following the patients and writing a short report about their general expectations and behavioursFamiliarizing with the compulsory drugs to be present in pharmacy and understanding general processes • Controlling and management of the expiration date of medicines and familiarizing of the applications about these medicines • Ordering of the medicines and familiarizing of all stages • Following the patients and writing a short report about their general expectations and behaviours The subjects in theoritical lessons will be held
