Objectives of the Course
To give information about the theory, best available techniques and machines of application, washing and drying processes which are the basic operations applied in all major branches of textile finishing.

5To be able to evaluate basic operations in terms of material, cost, energy efficiency and quality

Basic operations and methods that can be used in all major branches of textile finishing: Application methods and machines (exhaustion, impregnation and low liquor applications). Theory and mechanism of washing, factors affecting washing efficiency, washing machines. Principles of drying, drying theory, pre-drying, main drying, drying machinery
