Objectives of the Course
Aim of this course is to give detailed information to students on fundamentals map design techniques. Students create different thematic maps and interprete topographical maps.

1Understand major principles of good cartographic design (symbolization, map elements, generalization, map projection, color use, visualization, etc.)
