Objectives of the Course
This course unit covers the economic development from the First World War to present day. In this frame, the political polarisation following Second World War, emergence of under developed countries, the role of USA and USSR in the world economy and the Dynamics of the new economic order. The main objective is to understand the economic globalization and the economic system of the today’s world.

1Ekonomik determinizmin sosyal bilimlerde baskın olduğu 20. Yüzyılın ekonomik yapılanması ve gelişimini kronolojik olarak öğrenmek.
2Günümüzde etkin olan II. Dünya Savaşı sonrasında oluşturulan küresel ekonomik kurumları ve işlevlerini öğrenmek.
3Küreselleşme ve yeni dünya düzeni içinde gelişmekte olan ekonominin sosyal ve makansal yansımaları hakkında geniş bir bakış açısıyla yorum kabiliyeti kazanmak
4Bölgesel dengesizlik, sürdürülebilirlik ve az gelişmişliğin dağılımını ortaya koymak.
