Objectives of the Course
This course aims to enable psychology students, researchers and psychologists to gain an ethical approach throughout their lives in all professional activities, scientific research, educational activities and publications, and to understand scientific and professional ethical values.

1Understand and differentiate the concepts of ethic and morality
2Understand the main philosophy of ethics
3Recognize the importance of ethics in psychological research
4Understand the ethical principles of Turkish Psychological Association
5To be able to analyze the examples of professional violations based on the principles of professional ethics
6To be able to apply the principles of professional ethics to daily life problems
7To have knowledge and discuss about ethical violations and dilemmas that may occur in current scientific progress and pseudo- scientific knowledge.

Course Contents
To introduce the ethical principles that psychology students, researchers and psychologists should take into consideration throughout their lives in all professional activities, scientific research, educational activities and publications; discussing the formation and internalization of professional ethical behavior is the content of this course.
