The audience and the perception about audience that is changed by years. The studies on audiences: Five traditions. The audience in Public and private broadcasting. L.Althusser and hegemony relations, these realtions’ connection with audience. S. Hall and British cultural studies. Gramsci and his opinions. Methods of the media and audience studies. The studies of critical Audience. The audience reseraches in Turkey and World
