Objectives of the Course
The course aims to inform Modern Art Movements, and make students aware of how they contribute to artistic, cultural and societal life. In the first part, art, aesthetic, artistic forms, artistic contents issues are introduced. The second part deals with modern art movements; romanticism, impressionism, symbolism, pictorialism, expressionism, naturalism, cubism, surrealism, abstract art, pop art, etc.
