Objectives of the Course
The aim of this course is to explain law, to teach the differences between the law and other social rules, sources of the Turkish positive law, written law, law of custom and tradition, decisions and comments of judgement departments, person and personality in law, juristic person, the topics of where the personality begins and ends, people as the subject of rights, protection of personality; rights, spicies of rights, getting, using and loosing of rights, juristic events, juristic actions and their results.

Learning Outcomes
1The student who attends this course learns the social function of law and knows where the law exists and specifications of the rules of law.
2The student who attends this course knows and distinguishes the braches of law.

4The student who attends this course knows the categories of personal rights and how to defend himself/herself under possible attacks on his/her basic rights and freedom.

The course contains the branches of law, sources of the Turkish positive law, he differences between the law and other social rules,written law, law of custom and tradition, decisions and comments of judgement departments, person and personality in law,protection of personality; rights, spicies of rights, getting, using and loosing of rights, juristic events, juristic actions and their results.
