Objectives of the Course
To provide learning legislation and law about sector, know subjects about rules of law, regulating social life, interested in fisheries in their professional life, giving legal ability to think in the face of events are targets of this course. Legislation and law take place all engineers’ issues to gain a conscious perspective. Showing bureaucratic procedures in seafood enterprises and inform problem and solution of this subject are among of targets of this course.

Learning Outcomes
1To be able to understand concepts, basic principles and systems about maritime law and sea food legislation
2To be able to gain to ability of know sea vehicle and seaman and classify in terms of legal, to know responsibility and authority as a seaman, to recognize the ship according to the nationality
3To learn necessary documents for removal of the ship to sea
4To gain ability of speaking and understanding legal language about seafood subjects
5In terms of legislation of sea food, to know necessary conditions to being fisheries, aquaculture and sea food industry facilities
6To be able to compare alternative about career choice by the definition of public bodies and cooperatives between public institution
7To be able to understand standards, principles of protection and control of seafood

Course Contents
Concepts related to the law of the sea and fisheries legislation, legislation, rules string, in terms of law of the sea in different branches of law, laws relating to fisheries and aquaculture law analysis, ship, nationality of the ship, the captain, owner, legal aspects and introduction of seafarers, the captain and the ship The duties and powers of men, responsibility and rights, the conduct of fisheries fishing, fishing boats, sport fishing and hunting related legislation international waters, aquaculture and fisheries industries of fisheries legislation, national and international standards for fishery products, the benefits of standardization, the Turkish Standards Institute Introduction of the fisheries with the introduction of relevant public institutions, public institutions related to fisheries in some of legislation, cooperative partnerships with states and credit legislation.
