The aim of this course is giving information to the students about the using basic metods and analysis in the fisheries researches and fish biology.

Course Contents
Having knowledge about life strategy of fish species and their intractions, ecological niche, biological indices, functional species and morphological features used for taxonomic investigations, Introduction of sampling methods in fihery, metric and meristic methods and also using morphological features in larval periods of fish, Analysis metods of gut contents in fish species and to the their data interpretations the reproductive and breeding models of fishes species, their analysis and to the their data interpretations, the growh in fish and growth calculation methods in fisheries, their analysis and to the their data interpretations, the age of fish and methods of age determinations in fish and fisherises
