Objectives of the Course
This course is designed to give the students a basic understanding of nature of Italian language as a second foreign language. Its structure gives an overview of basic Italian grammar and aims to give the students an introduction to Italian culture.

Course Contents
The General İnformation of Italian Language and Italian culture. Expressions of meeting, greeting, thanking, introducing themselves. The gender of the nouns. The articles. The adjectives and concordance of adjectives and nouns. The pronouns and their pluaral forms. The verbs. İndicatives. Present Tense. The basic verbs of Italian lamguage: "Essere" and "Avere" and their negative and question forms. The expressions which consist of those verbs. Haber Kipi Şimdiki Zaman “Olmak”(essere) fiili, olumsuz ve soru biçimi. Belirtisiz harfitarifler/artikeller/takılar. Haber Kipi Şimdiki Zaman “Sahip olmak”(avere) fiili, olumsuz ve soru biçimi ve bu fiille kullanılan deyimsel ifadeler.
