Öğrencilerin hastalıkların mekanizmalarını açıklayabilmeleri, hastalık tanısında yararlı olabilecek parametreleri seçebilmeleri ve hastalıkların fizyopatolojisini kavrayıp beslenme tedavisi ile ilişkilendirebilmelerini sağlamaktır.
