Objectives of the Course
This aims students to learn the sociological context underlying the transformations of Turkey from Ottoman Empire to this day. In addition to that, this course also aims to scuritinize the the political, economic and cultural dimensions of these transformations.

1To recognize the effects of late term developments in Ottoman Empire to the Rebuplican era.
2To learn the sociological context of developments of Turkey ina historical manner.
3To scuritinize the developments of Turkey in a sociological perspective.
4To get the ability to disscuss the relations and the causes of some problems occurred between several instutuions of Turkey.
