Objectives of the Course
This course aims to evaluate the perception of reality by examining the function of the media in influencing and manipulating the public, the role of the mass communication means in reflecting reality, and the sample current and economic cases in the media.

Course Contents
In comtemporary societies, man acquires most of the knowledge about current and economic events through the means of mass communication, with regards to his perception, comprehension and evaluation of the events and phenomena in external world. In this context, the impact and role of the media in evaluating current and economic events in a right way are discussed.
