Objectives of the Course
The aim of this course is to support the foreign students, who studying in Turkey, in their courses and scientific activities to enable them to use Turkish more effectively, to enable them to use turkish language more effectively and to improve their competence in creating academic texts (lecture notes, reports, presentations, project reports etc.)

Learning Outcomes
1To be able to say the features of academic Turkish language
2To be able to recognize Turkish academic texts
3To be able to understand the terms and concepts in Turkish academic writings
4To be able to take notes / take an effective note from a course-related or academic text
5To be able to comprehend the stages of producing Turkish academic texts (source research, title, abstract, keywords, introduction, method, findings, conclusion, discussion and suggestions from printed and internet databases)
6To be able to prepare homework, presentation
7To be able to give references in text and at the end of academic works
8Following academic meetings (conference, symposium, workshop etc.)
9Ability to ask and answer oral questions in academic meetings / lessons
